MDSC 26th Annual Conference "Taking Chances"

Each spring, the MDSC hosts its Annual Conference, one of the largest statewide events on Down syndrome in the nation. More than 500 parents, educators, self-advocates and brothers and sisters gather to hear some of the nation's leading experts on Down syndrome. The 2010 conference will feature: Emily Jean Davidson, MD, MPH and Brian Skotko, MD, MPP of Children's Hospital in Boston; Beverly Beckham, Boston Globe columnist; Cheryl Jorgensen, PhD, Project Director Institute on Disability, University of New Hampshire; Jose Florez, MD, PhD of Massachusetts General Hospital; Karen Erickson, PhD and David Koppenhaver, PhD, national literacy experts, plus many more. Self-advocate Phillip Donahue will deliver the keynote address.
