Each spring, the MDSC hosts its Annual Conference, one of the largest statewide events on Down syndrome in the nation. More than 500 parents, educators, self-advocates and brothers and sisters gather to hear some of the nation's leading experts on Down syndrome.
2010 looks to be a very productive year for DADS. We are going to be funded through the MDSC and are planning a fund-raiser/event/outing for each month (except January). On Wednesday, January 20, DADS held its first meeting of 2010 at John Harvard's Brew House in Framingham. Our guest for this meeting was Dr. Brian Skotko. There was a great turn out and several wives of DADS members were also there.
On January 20, 2010 DADS kicked off the New Year with special guest Dr. Brian Skotko. As usual we gathered at John Harvard’s brew house. The turn out was great, I haven’t gotten the exact numbers from Jeff but I think we had around 45 folks come out.

Dr. Brian Skotko, Chair of the MDSC has asked to pass along news that the Down Syndrome Program at Children's Hospital Boston is now accepting patients ages 0-18. Interested families must first complete an intake form here.
On Sept. 23, 20 DADS members came together at John Harvard's in Framingham and set up committees for fiscal year 2010. It was voted to keep the executive board, budget committee and website committee the same. The following additional committees were formed and there are still positions available if you are willing to participate.
